A familiar face on a seated trike
The science journalist is known to many viewers through Hobbythek. The collaboration also had a personal connection for HP Velotechnik: its founders had followed his features on specialist cycles as teenagers. The report focused on the enjoyment of renewed independent mobility.
Equipment specific to his trike
The report described a Delta tx with motor assistance, automatic gearing and additional adaptations. These accessories are not automatically standard on every Delta tx. A well-known rider’s experience does not establish how the same configuration will suit someone else.
Choosing a trike today
